What is carbon offset?
Carbon offset is the concept of compensating for unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions by making efforts to reduce CO2 and other greenhouse gases unavoidably emitted in daily life and economic activities, and by conducting greenhouse gas reduction activities commensurate with the amount of emissions.
The United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States are actively working on this issue, and the private sector in Japan is also expanding its efforts.
