Our company was founded in 1948 as a starch and cereal wholesaler, Sanko Shokuhin Co. It was in the midst of the chaos of the post-war period, with burnt ruins and shacks still standing everywhere.

At that time, it was the so-called black merchants who supported the "food" of the Japanese people. However, food distribution, which should fundamentally support the lives of the people, cannot be in such an unstable and disorderly state.
That is to provide truly safe food products in the right quantity, at the right time, in the right place, without fail―With all my heart.

It is easy to put into words, but it is not easy to realize. By accumulating experience and achievements, we have built up unique knowledge, and have aimed to provide products of superior quality and stable prices at all times.

Half a century since establishment. Times are changing, and Japanese people's dietary habits and food culture are undergoing great changes.
While our lives are becoming more affluent, it is also said that we are in an era of food insatiability. We hardly ever have to worry about food anymore. However, our responsibility as a leader in food distribution has not changed. In fact, I am proud to say that it is becoming more and more important.
